Daffodil Day activities are Rescheduled for Saturday, March 22, in historic Bell Buckle where the townspeople take their daffodils seriously and celebrate their cheerful beauty at the annual Bell Buckle Daffodil Day Flower Show.
Bring your best specimen or two and join us for a friendly competition, showcasing the many varieties of this beautiful flower. Entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Bethany Hall right next to Farm Girlz Goods off Main Street. While the flower show entries are being judged, be sure to take the opportunity to enjoy everything spring in historic Bell Buckle.
Family-owned nursery, M&L, will have daffodils, tulips, and other plants available for purchase. Bell Buckle is also super proud to be celebrating its quarter century mark as a Tree City USA.
Ever-popular FREE tree seedlings will be given away on the downtown Quilt Square. This year’s selections will be Bur Oak, Common Persimmon, and Native Sweet Pecan.
What a great way to celebrate Spring by planting a tree to spread beauty and joy for years and years.
Additionally, the town will honor its Citizen of the Year on Daffodil Day.
