Editor’s note: In today’s issue you will find a photo of this week’s gas prices. In Shelbyville, we leveled in most places at around $4.15 per gallon. With this increase, how will our Nation be affected in the way of food prices, yet again? Priced bread and milk, lately?

As well, we see a story today about how a meat-processing plant, one division located right here in Shelbyville, was called out by a House subcommittee in a report about the Coronavirus. How far can we push our workers during a pandemic? The AP special story weighs in on the subject.

See a guest column today from Dave Sliger--a local historian who discusses the politics surrounding the recent “leak” within the newest Roe vs. Wade case. Repeating past historical mistakes? Dave explains his take.

Fact or fiction? You decide within what you read about your Nation, today.
