Ardell Raymond Georgeson, 88, of Shelbyville died Thursday, March 17, 2022. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Pastor Mark Rosson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.
He was a retired truck driver for Bush Trucking of Shelbyville; a member of the Lutheran Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Irene Cantrell Georgeson, and a son, Harold Georgeson Sr.
Ardell is survived by his children, Cindy Meeks of Shelbyville, Christie Throneberry Brown of Hermitage, Donna (George) Worden of Lewisburg; step-daughter, Sherry Rogers; step-son, Tony Mims; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and his loving dogs “Dude” and “Starr.”
