Mrs. Bettie Sue Adcock Helton, age 86, of Bell Buckle, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday, May 10, 2021, everyone is welcome, at Smotherman Cemetery. Reverend Jack Carney will officiate.
She was born October 22, 1934, to the late Arthur Ervin and Fanny Inez Jordan Adcock. She was a lifelong Methodist and loved to cook for family and friends. Anyone who sat at her table knew they were about to have a great home cooked meal. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Douglas Helton, in 2020; brothers and sisters, Joe Frank Adcock, Grady Bearl Adcock, Tennie Conine Adcock, Mary Thelma Adcock, Janice Dell Adcock, Paul Brockman Adcock, Bertha Louise Adcock, Jerry Carlos Gene Adcock, and Dorothy Inez Dean Adcock.
She is survived by her son, Tony Helton, of Shelbyville; daughter, Vickie Lynn (Carter) Clay, of Shelbyville; two grandchildren, Alan Joel Dennis and Kelsey Lynn Dennis of Shelbyville.
