Mr. Billy Ray Burnett, 88, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Funeral services will be 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Hawkins Burnett; second wife, Bertha Louise Burnett, a son, Jacky Burnett; daughter, Carolyn Bibens; grandson, Terry Bibens.
He is survived by a son, Wayne Burnett; stepdaughters, Tammy Griffin, Linda (Mitch) Johnson, and Diane McGinness; stepsons, Steve Graves and Danny Graves; daughter-in-law, Ellen Burnett; a brother, Johnny (Carol) Burnett; grandchildren, Melissa Crowe, Jeremy Burnett, Jason Burnett, and Johnny Burnett; step-grandchildren, Amanda Griffin, Shinay Griffin, Gary Howard Griffin II, Devon Johnson, and Michael Johnson; step great-grandchildren, Brylin "Little Lake" Griffin, Alyha Paige "Little Angel" Wood, and Haley Jade Griffin.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
