MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The No. 48-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis team is NCAA Tournament bound for the sixth straight season, earning the No. 3 seed in the Knoxville
Regional. The Blue Raiders will open their tournament run against No. 2 seed/No. 16-ranked Duke on Saturday, May 3. Time of the match is still TBA.
 
Joining MTSU in the Knoxville Regional are host and No. 1 seed/No. 15 Tennessee, No. 2 seed/No. 16 Duke, and the No. 4 seed Alabama State.
 
Last season, Middle Tennessee made a strong showing at the Starkville Regional, taking down Georgia Tech 4-1 in the first round before falling to Mississippi State 4-0 in the second round.
 
This year's appearance marks the program's sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA Team Tournament and the 17th all-time. The Blue Raiders have advanced to the second round five times in their NCAA Tournament history.
