Catherine Biles Carter, 78, of Wartrace died Saturday, December 19, 2020. Due to Covid-19 concerns a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
She was a native of Bedford County; a retired RN for 23 years at Bedford County Medical Center and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Shelbyville. She was born
March 20, 1942 in Nashville; a graduate of Antioch High School and St. Thomas School of Nursing and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Newton Biles and Sara Frances Mulliniks Biles and her husband of 53 years, Percy Maxwell “Max” Carter.
Catherine is survived by two sons, Conan (Jamie) Carter, Christopher (Kelley) Carter; grandchildren, Catherann Carter, Kristen Carter, Michaela Carter, April Carter, Chase McCormick, Kevan McCormick and her twin sister, Carole (Allen) Kimbro.
