SMYRNA — Over the weekend, the Cascade Champion wrestling team participated in the Red Hawk Rampage and saw several wrestlers reach the podium and finish after strong showings.
Vayden Moore and Isaac Chapa both won their respective weight divisions, while Hayden Dowell and Cole West each took third.
In the 126-pound class, Moore defeated Eagleville\'92s Drake Rzemieniewski to win via pin 3:31 into the match.
Chapa also had a hard-fought championship match at the 195-pound class, defeating Munford\'92s Ethan Gullett in a 4-3 decision.
Dowell took third in the 182-pound class and pinned Colton Hagan of Cookeville to secure a strong finish, while Cole West won a sudden victory in the 220-pound class.
Cascade was back on the mat at Marshall County on Monday night.
