LEWISBURG — It was a tough night out at Marshall County for the Cascade Champions on Thursday night.
Marshall County plated eight runs in the bottom of the first inning and hammered out eight hits in the 10-0 win over Cascade.
The Tigers relied on timely hitting, as well as a selective approach a the plate as part of the eight-run first frame.
Marshall County collected three singles, a double and five walks in the opening frame.
Chance Brown, Jaxon Sheffield, Walker Craig and Noah McGreary all singled for the Champions.
Cascade is back in action on Monday night with a non-district game at Lincoln County before returning home to face Cornersville on Tuesday night.
