Christopher Richard Blanton, age 48, of Murfreesboro, a native of Shelbyville, passed away, July 26, 2023, at his home, under the loving care and comfort of his family and Alive Hospice.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. William Lynch will officiate.
The family will receive visitors 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born May 14, 1975, in Bedford County, to Ricky and Vicki Parker Blanton. Chris was employed with Snyder Electric and was a huge Predators fan. He enjoyed music, computers, his truck, and his family. He was truly adored by his eighteen nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his biological mother, Willie Mai Burks Blanton; grandparents, Ollie and Virginia Blanton, J.C. and Alice Faye Burks, and a nephew, Aidean Haynes.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Tammy Renee Puckett Blanton; brothers, Patrick Blanton and William Lynch, and his wife Tabatha; a sister, Tiffany Owens, and her husband Michael; grandparents, Donald and Martha Parker; favorite sister in law, Timberly Ross; numerous nieces and nephews who enjoyed a loving relationship.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
