Dennis Wayne Swan, 70, of Shelbyville died Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 11th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Rev. Jeff Rasnick officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
He was a retired employee of American Can Corporation; former owner of Dee's Custom Upholstery and a member of World Outreach of Murfreesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Wayne Swan and Marie Schaefer Rodgers; a sister, Diane Bixler; two brothers, James Michael Rodgers and Kenneth Wayne Rodgers.
Dennis is survived by his children, Sheila (Neil) Phillips, Melissa (James) Brannon, D.J. (Tracy) Swan, Buddy Swan; sister, Gina Seckler; brothers, Terry (Lynn) Rodgers, Kevin (Connie) Swan; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
