Donald “Billy” Gannon, 83, of Shelbyville died Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 7th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Rev. Jay Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 12 noon.

He was a native of Bedford County; former owner/operator of Main Street Tire & Service Co. and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Don was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He served Bedford County by taking care of so many folks’ car needs including the Bedford County Sheriff’s Department at Main Street Tire for over 30 years. Everyone knew Don as an honest and hardworking man. After retiring, he loved to attend car shows all over Tennessee, where he would even enter his own car(s) at times. He also had a love for trail riding and a big place in his heart for dogs and of course his children.

He was the son of the late Robert Gannon and Alene Tillett Womble.

Donald is survived by his children, Lisa (Richard) Darling of Beech Grove, Pamela Mullins of Tullahoma, Donald G. Gannon of Shelbyville; sisters, Bobbye Hodges, Geneva (Thomas) Smith of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Matthew Odeneal, Kendall Odeneal, Jarod Mullins, Jonathan Darling; four great-grandchildren, Madison Odeneal, Logan Odeneal, Delaney Odeneal and Dali Odeneal.
