The Eagles (1-1, 0-1) scored off the opening kickoff of the match from a Dyson Collins pressure and shot.
Edgar Solis followed with a long shot that found the back of the net off an assist from Yahir Cervante.
Pepe Vargas scored from rocket a series of quick combination passes assisted by Jose Domingo with adding another goal to close out the scoring.
"We played a great game against old regional rival Riverdale. We had a number of guys step to the plate and make big plays. The guys set a tempo and we got back to playing the type of soccer that we like to play," Eagle coach Chris Fritz said. "A big driver of this tempo increase and pressuring were the upperclassmen. We have to keep this fire in our bellies if we want to be able to contend in district play, but this is the first step in the right direction.
Shelbyville Central hosts Coffee County on the football field on Tuesday for Spring Sports Homecoming.
