Deery Eakin Elementary School celebrated Twin Day Friday, and according to attendance clerk Sue Hasty, this is the most twins they’ve had in both the student body and among the faculty and staff.
In addition to the students, Eakin also has several faculty members who are a twin: Jeffrey McGee has a twin brother, Jason; Abby Davis has a twin brother Austin; Taylor Gibson has a twin brother, Tyler Stembridge; Jeannette Rorabaugh has a twin sister, Jacquelyn Applegate; Terri Denekas has a twin, Tammy Bruckner; Nida McGee has a twin sister, Nilda.
The school also has several faculty members with children who are twins. They are: Alicia Cothron with twin sons Matthew and Justin Martin; Lindsay Cleek has twins daughters Aida and Emma; Kecia Johnson has twin sons Tanner and Tucker; and Kate Strempfer has twins Oliver and Adeline.
