First Presbyterian Church Youth recently collected stuffed animals and fleece blankets for a project called “Comforting Kids.” These bags will be distributed to kids in stressful situations. The group collected enough items for 80 bags. Participating were: Ean Matusek, Jacob Flannagan, Hunter Wilhelm, Grace Wilhelm and Sara Flannagan. Shelbyville Police Department’s Carol Jean accepted the donations on behalf of her department.
