Mrs. Geneva Wright Leverette, age 91, of Unionville, TN, died Friday, February 5, 2021 at her residence. Born in Bedford County, TN, Geneva was the daughter of the late Oscar Ervin and Emma Pearl Boyce Wright. She worked for Woodway Company for 20 years and Durango Boot for five years. Mrs. Geneva was a member of Rays Chapel United Methodist Church in Unionville, TN. In addition to her parents, Geneva is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Lee Leverette; sister, Gladys Haynes; brothers, James Oscar Wright and Herman Wright; grandson, Jonathan Lee; son-in-laws, Don Lee and Roger Evans.
Mrs. Leverette is survived by her daughter, Cathey Evans of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Steve (Sharon) Leverette of Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Nancy Mealer of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Tara Lee of Nashville, TN, Brannon (Tiffany) Lee of Murfreesboro, TN, Ashley (Jarred) Jones of Shelbyville, TN, Cody Leverette of Chapel Hill, TN, Josh (Saffron) Hamilton of Unionville, TN, Karen (Jeff) Laszig of Hilton Head, SC ; great-grandchildren Lawson Lee, Easton Lee, Peyton Lee, and Addison Lee all of Murfreesboro, TN.
Visitation for Mrs. Leverette will be Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in Unionville, TN.
Cody Leverette, Josh Hamilton, Brannon Lee, Lawson Lee, Charlie Tindall, and Jay Wright will serve as pallbearers. Easton Lee will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
