George W. “PaPaw” Weaver, 81, of Manchester died Friday, March 4, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon.
He was a native of Bedford County; a retired 30-year employee of Sherman Dixie Industries of Nashville and Eatherly Construction Co. He was a loving father and “PaPaw” who loved spending time with his family and watching TV with his dog Bentley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Dora Brown Weaver; his wife of 38 years, Sarah Elizabth Allen Weaver; brothers and sisters, Merle Weaver, Emma Young, Annie Lou Williamson and Donald Weaver.
George is survived by his daughter, Kelli Elizabeth Bailey; grandchildren, Chris (Josie) Jeffrey, Chelsey Bailey; great-grandchildren, Eden Jeffrey and Isabela Jeffrey.
