Shelbyville Central Golden Eaglettes’ basketball and soccer star Paige Blackburn officially signed with Union University in Jackson, TN, on Friday to continue her soccer career at the collegiate level. 

Blackburn, who also scored over 1,000 points in her basketball career, was the focal point of the Golden Eaglettes’ attack last fall. She easily eclipsed double-digit goals on the year, proving herself to be a very prolofic forward.  

Her signing was held just outside the Rick Insell Gymnasium, and she was surrounded by her family, friends, and coaches to celebrate the big occasion.
