DALLAS — Middle Tennessee senior guard Jalynn Gregory has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.

"Everything you want in a student-athlete, Jalynn Gregory gives you," said Head Coach Rick Insell. "She excels in the classroom and is always in the gym working on her game. She is just the ultimate team player."

A standout both on and off the court, Gregory is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Studies with a concentration in Strategic Leadership, where she has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. The talented guard graduated in August 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Biology and Athletic Coaching. She completed her undergraduate studies in just three years with a 3.58 GPA.

On the hardwood, Gregory has started all 29 games for the Blue Raiders this season, averaging 13.4 points per game—ninth in CUSA and third on the team. She leads the conference and ranks 16th nationally with 78 three-pointers made. She recently became MTSU's all-time leader in career three-pointers with 324. She has recorded five games with five or more made triples this season. Her shooting prowess also places her fourth all-time in CUSA in career three-pointers made and second in league history with a .877 career free throw percentage.

As the Blue Raiders' top perimeter defender, Gregory has held every player she has primarily guarded under their season average. She is second on the team and ranks fifth in CUSA with 2.1 steals per game, and has played a pivotal role in MTSU, boasting the nation's No. 1 defense.

She will go down as part of the winningest four-year graduation class in program history with 108 wins and counting.

Gregory joins Ebony Rowe (2014), Abbey Sissom (2017-18), Dor Saar (2022) and Courtney Whitson (2022) as the only Blue Raiders to be named to the CUSA All-Academic team since joining the league in 2013.
