The bride-elect is the daughter of James Hastings and Michelle Hastings, both of Shelbyville. She is the granddaughter of Winford and Marian Arnold of Shelbyville, Patricia Hastings of Shelbyville and the late Hart Hastings.
She is a graduate of Cascade High School and a 2020 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. The bride-to-be is employed as a financial advisor with Feldhaus Investor Services.
The future groom is the son of Robin Carter of Lewisburg and Cindy Mckeehan of Loganville, Ga. He is the grandson of Carolyn Bowen and the late Joe Bowen, Yvonne Cashion and the late Jimmy Carter. A graduate of Marshall County High School, he is owner and operator of Carter Plumbing and Electric.
