Helen Ophelia Nelson, 71, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Friday, May 13 at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Revs. Ray Armstrong and Kenny Collins officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Kelly Dunnavant and Ozell Tatum Dunnavant; her husband, Steve Nelson; her son, Curtis Fralix; and four brothers, Clyde, Bill, Maylon and John Dunnavant.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Gary) Patterson, Christine Guerrero; brother, James (Frances) Dunnavant,all of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Matthew Patterson, Paula Patterson, Kristopher Henson, Steven Hargrove; six great-grandchildren, Braylon Persons, Jordyn Griffith, Braxton Griffith, Savannah Patterson, Makayla Hargrove and Addison Sanders.
