Help for Curtis Stacy

To the Editor:

I am asking for community assistance from individuals and churches for Curtis Stacy. For many years Curtis ran the Community Closet at his home on Dover Street and helped many people in Bedford County with free clothes whenever needed. Due to his age and health he had to stop doing this service.

He is 80 years old and now he needs our help. My husband and I have been trying to help him with food but he needs more help than we can provide. Meals on Wheels can be provided for Mr. Stacy but the cost is $7 per day. Even if we can get together and provide 3-4 meals a week that would be a big help.

If you would like to donate please see or call April at the Senior Citizens Center on J.G. Helton Drive 931-684-0019. Thank you for your support.
