The Eagles (1-1) dominated the first quarter and outscored the hosts on a 14-2 run in the frame.

Shelbyville Central's best quarter, however, came in a 23-point effort in the second frame that bumped the advantage to 25 points by halftime.

Jai’lain Anderson led the winners with 18 points while Jayshon Jones pitched in a dozen.
