To the editor,

If a psychic made a bunch of predictions and they all came true, you would probably believe everything they predicted from then on. Of course you would.

Well, hundreds of bible prophecies have come true so far, but not everyone believes in God or the Bible. And that’s a shame; because when the end of time comes, as predicted in the Bible, there will be a lot of people left behind.

Here’s what happens.

The bible predicts that a Rapture will take place. No one knows when it will happen. A trumpet will sound that will be heard all around the world. Then Jesus will appear in the sky and in just the blink of an eye, all true Christians that are living or have previously died, will be transformed into heavenly bodies and taken up into heaven with Jesus. Just think of it, a chance to see again your parent or sibling or child that has died before you. This would be the greatest family reunion ever. But if you die without accepting Jesus, you will spend eternity without that chance.

Sometime after the Rapture, the Tribulation will occur. This is a period of seven years of “hell on earth”. There will be earthquakes, fires and tsunamis like never before, wars, disease, drought, famine and hatred. At the very beginning of the tribulation the Antichrist, masquerading as the Messiah will appear. He will try to make everyone accept a new one world religion and the “mark of the beast”. No one will be able to buy or sell anything in the world without that mark. You will either have to accept this mark or be killed. During this time you still have a chance to become a true Christian but only if you do so without accepting the mark, and if you can do so before death strikes you down.

To help, those left behind have another chance to believe and accept Jesus as our Savior, God will send down two witnesses, who some believe will be Elijah and Enoch. These witnesses or prophets will preach the gospel and call people to accept Jesus Christ. In addition, God will anoint 144,000 evangelists from the twelve tribes in Israel. They will be marked by an angel of the Lord so that no harm will come to them during the tribulation as they go out in the world to spread the word of God. This is another chance to be saved.

At the end of seven years, when the Tribulation is over, we will see the second coming of Jesus. He will actually come back down to earth in Jerusalem, and Armageddon will occur at the Valley of Megiddo. In an instant good will triumph over evil and the devil Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire.

God will then take all the believers in heaven and put them back on a new earth, to live for a 1,000 years in peace, joy, good health, prosperity and long life. Just think of it. If you are one of these believers you could be reunited with all your loved ones and get to spend a thousand years together.

The bible says that all true Christians will be saved and go to heaven because we believe that God sent his son Jesus down to earth and he died on the cross for our sins. You may say to me, “No, you are wrong. I don’t believe in God. There is no such thing as God.” Okay, so I believe, but if I am wrong, thanks to my faith I have lived a good, decent life. I have tried to be honest and to love my fellow man, and my God has helped me get through all the difficult, tough times in my life. I have no regrets.

You may not believe in God or the Bible, but if YOU are wrong you will see HELL and suffer for all eternity. It’s your choice.
