With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved Jackson “Will” Willis Goolsby passed away unexpectedly at the age of 18 years old on September 21st, 2024.
Will was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, boyfriend, and friend. Everyone who knew him loved him. Will loved his family and friends with all of his heart, was a hard worker, helped anyone he could, and was always the life of the party with an infectious smile. Will enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, hunting, and his favorite pastime was working on his large collection of vehicles. Will was planning to start college this year to pursue a career as an Electrician. Will’s memory will never leave all who knew him and will live long in our hearts.
He is survived by his son, Easton, girlfriend, Shelby Rogers, mother, Pricilla Goolsby, father, James Goolsby, as well as his brother, Jacob “Wyatt” Goolsby, Nana (Kathy Bunch), Pawpaw (Terry Goolsby) (Susan), Aunt Frances Goolsby (Bob Bonds), Aunt Janie Goolsby, Uncle Lee Roberts (Jennifer), cousin Shelby Prince (Austin) and their daughter Ella, cousin Jay Fann, and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by Barbara Goolsby Matthews (Nanny), Mona Marie Covey (Granny).
Funeral services were 2 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Mike Lovvorn officiated, with burial to follow in Miller Cemetery in Christiana.
The family received visitors 10 Am until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
