James Edward “Papa” Etheridge, age 72, of Shelbyville, passed from this life, Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at home surrounded by his loved ones after an extended illness.
Born September 3, 1947, in Franklin, TN he was the son of the late Edward Lee and Katherine England Etheridge. He was preceded in death by: sister, Brenda Taylor; and brothers, Buddy England, and William Etheridge.
James was survived by: loving wife, Yvonne Lee Etheridge; children, Harvey J. (Anita McCaig) Lindsey of Antioch, Michelle (Jamie) Stewart of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Chris Lee (Rachel) Lindsey, and Blake Allen Stewart; and great-grandchild, James Harvey Lindsey.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Heather Moorehead and Kendra Hastings-Smith of Willow Brook Hospice for all the love and care they’ve shown their “Papa”.
