Mrs. Jennie Brooks, age 68, of Christiana, passed away April 22, 2021.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 26, 2021, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Brother Don Morris will officiate.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
She was born April 27, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Robert McBee and Laura Buffa McBee. She was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church and a professional nanny who touched the lives of over 50 children in her career.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a siter, Rosemary Boyles.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Brooks; a daughter, Christie Taylor, and her husband Matt, all of Christiana; a brother, Bob McBee, and his wife Rita, of Shelbyville; sisters, Jerry Cooper, and her husband Virgil, of Shelbyville, JoAnne DeHate, of St. Claire Shores, Michigan, Liz Fabera, and her husband Joe, of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Michael Cox, of Memphis, Mason Cox and Braxxton Taylor, both of Christiana.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
