John William Collet, 72, of Wartrace died Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
Memorial services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, January 15th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Jeff Collet officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
John was born August 17, 1948 in Gary, Indiana. He was a retired teacher/coach for Bloom Trail School in Chicago Heights, Ill. and a member of Fairfield Church of Christ.
He was the son of the late Lawrence E. and Catherine Norris Collet. John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Wade Collet; two sons, John W. (Ann) Collet II and Jeff (Jennifer) Collet; sisters, Pam Collet, Janice (Daryl) Fraley; brother, Craig (Adria) Collet; grandchildren, Caroline, Carina, Christopher, Carson, Colin, Cathlynn, Mackenzie, Larissa, Nora, Brinlie and Josie.
