Judy Newby “GJ” Comstock, age 74, of Unionville, died Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Rasnick officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.

Mrs. Comstock was born May 18, 1948, in McMinnville, TN. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Willanna Hillis Newby. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by beloved husband, Kenneth Marvin Comstock; sisters, Barbara Bogle and Nancy Bouldin; brothers, Bill Newby, Joe Edward Newby, Joel Wayne Newby and Jerry Hillis Newby; and an infant son.

Mrs. Comstock is survived by: son Chris (Amanda) Pegg, grandchildren; Colby Pegg, Lauren Pegg, Chase Kress, Addyson Kress; great-grandchildren, Gage, Abbie, Bentley and Warren; brother, Butch (Lisa) Newby of Sparta; sister, Carol Newby of Florida; also several nieces and nephews.
