BELL BUCKLE - The Webb School just had too much firepower for BGA to match on Tuesday night.
Only five players for Webb scored, but it was more than enough in a 56-31 blowout victory.
Led by Shanice Simpson-Whitey's 20-point effort, Webb established control of the game out of the gates with a 15-9 romp in the first frame.
With it still only being a two-possession game, it wasn't until a 24-5 run in the second quarter that the game fully broke Webb's way.
Scoring slowed significantly in the second half as Webb managed just 17 points, which was still enough to preserve the 27-poitn victory.
In addition to Simpson-Whitey's 20 point night, Lashae Dwyer and Lauren Vann also hit double figures, scoring 16 and 13, respectively.
