The winners collected 13 hits including a home run and double by Tidwell.
Staggs claimed the win for the Lady Wildcats.
Hannah Burks got the start in the circle for the Eaglettes with a relief appearance by Sarah Margret Housch.
Senior Kate McKamey went 3-for-3 to lead Shelbyville Central at the plate with McKamey and Kendance Rippy each connecting on a double.
The Eaglettes hosted Columbia on Monday evening at 6.
