Lea Rita (Descheneaux) Coble, age 78 of Unionville, passed away Monday August 12, 2024. A native of Lowell, MA she was the beloved daughter of Albert “Scout” and Isabelle “Betty” Descheneaux. Lea was also preceded in death by a half-sister, Doris Chartier.
Lea (aka Cricket) is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jerry Coble; sons Gerry Kite, Jr. of Magnolia, TX, Michael Kite of Willis, TX and step-daughter Melinda Coble Treu of Cumming, Georgia.; granddaughters Mikayla Kite and Kirklynn Kite, step-granddaughters Alicia Thompson and Savannah Treu; and step-great-granddaughter Olivia Thompson and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
In her business career, Lea excelled at whatever she did. She was an accomplished administrative assistant. She was a skilled office manager. She was a dedicated paralegal. She created her own business cleaning commercial and residential properties. Virtually all the banks where she worked used her services.
She enjoyed a multitude of friends and relatives. Many of them sought her opinion & guidance which was freely and thoughtfully given. Lea also loved her Shih Tzu dogs Gizmo, Scout, and Marvin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Ed Boggess officiating. Visitation with the family will be held prior to services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
