Liberty Middle School claimed a pair of wins against Fayetteville City in the home opener on Monday evening.
The Lady Patriots cruised to a 44-13 victory while the Patriots walked away with a 43-30 win.
Anna Haskins pitched in a game-high 23 points, including a three-pointer, while Taylor Wessner added 13 tallies for the Lady Patriots.
Liberty held a 17-4 advantage at the end of the first quarter, led 32-4 at the intermission and was in control 39-7 going into the fourth quarter.
The Patriots built and early 11-4 lead after the opening quarter and took a 23-13 lead into the half.
Fayetteville City bounced back in the third period and held a 28-26 advantage going into the fourth quarter where the Patriots outscored them 17-2 to claim the victory.
Jack Conditt and Braxton Landers led the winners with 11 points each while Mason Shavers and Jason Cullum added nine points apiece.
