James Donald Hester (center), of Unionville, U.S. Army (Vietnam) 1966 to 1968, recently celebrated a Quilt of Valor presentation with his son-in-law, Jonathan Doyle Gymer, (left) U.S. Marines 1987-1997, and grandson, Justin Doyle Gymer, U.S. Air Force, 2016, Reserves 2016-present. Hester, a Community High graduate, moved back to Unionville from California, several years ago following his retirement; his grandson and son-in-law, still residing in California, were here on a visit when they were wrapped in QOVs by volunteer Amy Martin.
