A Shelbyville man allegedly fought police officers who were watching his movement around a Madison Street car wash around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. Man injured fleeing from police

A Shelbyville man allegedly fought police officers who were watching his movement around a Madison Street car wash around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Jason Graham Barber, 30, of Hawkins Drive ran away as officers attempted to search him, Officer Darrian Lanier’s report said. At one point Lanier, Barber and Sgt. Tory Moore were on the ground. Barber was slightly injured, police said, and was treated at Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville.

Officers said they found 1.83 grams of marijuana on Barber and drug paraphernalia, including a methamphetamine pipe, after his arrest.

Barber was charged with resisting stop/halt/frisk, simple possession of schedule IV drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. He was held on $5,000 bond

The following were charged since Monday by the Shelbyville Police Department, Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol or 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force. They are only charged; guilt or innocence will be determined by the courts.

•Jason Graham Barber, 30, Hawkins Drive; resisting stop/halt/frisk, simple possession of schedule IV drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest; held, $5,000 bond

•Tina Renea Brannon, 51, Old Flat Creek School Road; driving on revoked/suspended license (fifth offense), possession of drug paraphernalia; held, $5,000 bond

•Romeo Pedro Cristobal, 29, Bird Street; no insurance, no driver’s license, leaving scene of accident; released on recognizance

•Kenneth Ray Davis Jr., 56, Gant Road; aggravated domestic assault; held, $10,000 bond

•Ediv Alberto Godinez, 27, Ledbetter Street; aggravated domestic assault, evading arrest; held, $7,500 bond

•Annie Abbott Grimes, 32, Northwood Drive; domestic assault; held, $2,500 bond

•Peggy Sue Hannah, 61, Highway 64 East; failure to appear; released, $1,000 bond

•David Glenn Helton, 73, Fairfield Pike; forgery, theft over $2,500; held, $6,000 bond

•Curtis Darnell Johnson, 61, U.S. 231 North; aggravated burglary, theft of property; released, $10,000 bond

•Jeremy Lynn Leverette, 36, Northwood Avenue; domestic assault; held, $2,500 bond

•Avelino Godinez Lopez, 30, Deery Street; failure to appear, capias; released, $2,500 bond

•Joseph Earl Moore, 43, Midland Road; aggravated domestic assault; held, $10,000 bond

•Nicole Renee Simpson, 36, Elm Street; theft (in Franklin County); held for Franklin County

•Emanuel Munoz Vives, 38, Glosson Circle; DUI, following too closely; released, $1,000 bond
