Mario Alberto Galvan Villalobos, age 57, of Bell Buckle, passed from this life late Tuesday night, May 10, 2022, at home surrounded by his family after an extended illness.
Mario was born April 18, 1965 in Santa Catarina, Mexico to Ana Maria Villalobos and the late Jose Galvan Martinez. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Leticia Galvan.
Growing up in Santa Catarina, Mario married his wife Dellanira and she gave birth to their first daughter before moving to the U.S. in 2000. Until present date He and his family moved all over the Southeast helping establish prior to funeral service starting churches (10 total), with stops in Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee, along the way his wife gave birth to a second daughter. He also taught youth ministries. He loved his family, working hard, and was a man of faith.
Along with his mother Mario is survived by: loving wife of 36 years, Dellanira Galvan; daughters, Carolina Galvan and Ashley Galvan, all of Bell Buckle; sisters, Ana Maria Galvan and Angelica Maria Galvan; brothers, Ricardo Galvan, Adrian Galvan and Jose Galvan; also many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Victory Baptist Church with Pastors Loyd Warren, Jaime Hernandez and Romel Sorto officiating. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
At a later date Mario will be laid to rest in his home town of Santa Catarina, Mexico.
