Marvin Terry Donegan, 86, of Shelbyville died Sunday, April 17, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at First Church of the Nazarene, Revs. Andy Keffer and Ron DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the church from 12 noon-2 p.m. Thursday and also from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Funeral Home.
He was born February 3, 1936 in Dickson; was owner/operator of Bedford Small Engine Shop; a former member of the Tennessee National Guard and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Clinton and Grace Langford Donegan; brothers, Wilson, J.C., Leman Donegan; sisters, Ethelene Clark, Ruth Baker and Mary Donegan.
Terry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mildred Donegan; children, Brenda Smotherman, Mike Donegan, John (Debbie) Wood, Tracy (Debbie) Donegan; brother, Leonard Junior (Linda) Donegan; sister, Edith Bateman; grandchildren, LaShann McCormick, Micah Donegan, Josh Donegan, Justin Boyce, Keith Boyce, Dr. Brett Donegan, Abby Ester, April Wood; and eight great-grandchildren.
