Mary Lee Mangrum Gilliland, 74, of Shelbyville died July 23, 2023. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rhoton and Rev. Mark Teal officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m.

She was a native of Bedford County; retired Finance Manager of Mid State Finance of Shelbyville and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Gale Owen and her parents, Orman C. and Bertha Leona Parker Mangrum.

Mary is survived by her husband, Stephen Gilliland; a son, Jeffrey Thomas Owen; grandson, James Tyler Owen; sister, Joyce Johnson; brothers, James Mangrum, Maurice Mangrum and several nieces and nephews.
