Matt Wilson Anderson Jr., 83, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 9th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Houston and Chester Slayton officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M.
He was born December 20, 1937 in Bedford County; a retired employee of Eaton Corporation; a member of Broadview Baptist Church and a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard and the U.S. Marines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Matt W. and Josie Redd Anderson; his sister, Juanita Frazier and brothers, Billy Anderson and James Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Anderson; his children, Gina (Tom) Woodson, Rhonda (Kevin) Baltier, Michael (Stacey) Pass; his brother, Charles (Joyce) Anderson; five grandchildren, Rachael Chapman, Benjamin Chapman, Creighton Baltier, Christian Baltier, Kaitlyn Pass and a great-grandson, William Chapman.
