Michael Lee Swift Sr., age 67, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home in Wheel, Tennessee surrounded by family. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Glenn Forsee officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2021, at the church.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 15, 1953, Michael was the son of the late Shirley and Harold Gannon and was preceded in death by: brother, Pat Swift; grandchildren, Gabriel Elias Beasley and Addilea Gracen Swift.
On November 30, 1974, he married Sharon Glenski. Mike was a hard worker and was a loyal Missouri fan. He had a great sense of humor, even throughout his illness it never went away. He loved being outside, mowing the grass, planting trees and watching the birds.
Michael is survived by: his wife, Sharon Swift; children, Kristi (James) Anthony, Michael (Shanna) Swift Jr., Jenny Beasley, Jeremy (Ashley) Swift and Cody (Rachel) Swift; siblings, Harvey (Catherine) Swift, Karen (Keith) Wray, Linda Kelsen and Danny (Kim) Swift; grandchildren, Jay (Zoey) Anthony, Haley and Kateland Anthony, Tayton and Millie Swift, Samantha, Joshua and Seanna Beasley, Braxton and Brycen Swift, and Jax Swift; also great-grandchildren, Violet Pham, Silas Pham and Ada James Anthony.
