LYNCHBURG, Va. - Middle Tennessee falls in the series finale against Liberty, 12-2 in eight innings, Sunday afternoon.
Middle Tennessee (15-16) had a solid day offensively with seven hits but struggled on the base paths, keeping the scoring low. Tyler Minnick drove in both runs for the Blue Raiders, blasting a homer to left in the fourth and hitting an RBI single in the fifth to score Cooper Clapp.
Defensively, the Blue Raiders tied a season high with five errors. Liberty (22-11) scored 12 runs on 11 hits to secure the win.
