Nancy Jane Philpot, 83, of Shelbyville, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Mark Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Herman Cemetery. Visitation will begin at
12 noon.

She was a native of Shelbyville; a homemaker and a member of Horse Mountain Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to dance; was an avid walker and loved her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Lester and Addie Katherine Walker Hart and a step-daughter, Tracy Leverette.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Harlen Ray Philpot; her children, David Terry Hoover, Devie Darlene (Robert) Williams; step-children, Pamela Philpot, Kim (Bud) Bingham; -brother, John Larry (Mary) Hart; five grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren and her special dog, “Tito”.
