MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee football program will host the 2025 Blue Raider Showcase presented by MMC to celebrate the conclusion of spring practice. The Blue Raider Showcase will occur inside Floyd Stadium on April 12 at 2 PM. The event is free and open to the public.

The Blue Raider football team will be available for autographs on the field beginning at 1:20 PM. Gates will open at 1 PM, and autographs will end at 1:45 so the team can prepare for practice.

"The showcase is going to be a little different, it's not going to be a true spring game," Head Coach Derek Mason said. "But we're going to have some entertainment mixed in there...It's just going to be a family fun day."

It will be an excellent opportunity for fans to get a first look at the 2025 Blue Raiders as the team will go through team periods, 7-on-7 drills, and much more. During practice breaks, the youth Next Level flag football participants from this winter will compete in a 40-yard dash and have a punt, pass, and kick competition.

Fans at the Blue Raider Showcase can also take advantage of a blowout sale by Textbook Brokers inside Lightning's Locker Room. Blue Raider gear will be discounted up to 75 percent, so take advantage of this great opportunity.

Concession stands will be open, and a food truck (Creative Culinary Cuisine) will be available. The Blue Raider Ticket Office will also be on hand to assist with fans in renewing their football season tickets as well as have availability for those wishing to explore becoming a part of the season ticket holder family for 2025.

The athletic department also encourages fans to download the free Blue Raider app on their phone to have the latest football roster at their fingertips. Due to construction, stadium seating for the event will be on the east side only.

Nick and Roman's Empire, Episode 11: CAM NEWTON

I've enjoyed every episode of Nick & Roman's Empire so far as the Blue Raider quarterbacks have hosted several of their teammates and coaches as they talked some Blue Raider football. But this Carolina Panthers fan was really excited when he heard that Nick Vattiato and Roman Gagliano were joined by 2010 Heisman Trophy winner and 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player, Cam Newton, for this week's episode!

The group talked about Cam's experience in college football and the NFL, his fashion, his advice for young players, and much more. What's Happening in the Boro: Baseball and Softball host CUSA Play this week

A busy week is ahead at home for the Blue Raiders, where MTSU baseball and softball host home series this week and both men's and women's tennis host senior day matchups.

On the diamond, baseball will host LA Tech in a three-game series starting on Friday, while Softball hosts rival WKU this weekend at Blue Raider Softball Field. Women's Tennis also hosts the Hilltoppers this week, taking on WKU on Tuesday at the Outdoor Tennis Complex. Your first chance to catch Softball in action this week will come on Wednesday, where fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and sodas while the Blue Raiders take on Lipscomb. MTSU picked up its second ranked win of the season this past weekend, taking one of three from No. 24 Liberty on the road in Lynchburg.

Women's Golf finishes third at Tennessee Spring Challenge

For the second consecutive tournament, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team has brought home a top-three team finish and the runner-up in the individual competition at the Tennessee Spring Challenge. The team placed third overall with a 589 (+13) in the 36-hole event at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn., highlighted by shooting the first 18 holes of the day at par.

Ella Manley led the Blue Raiders Monday, carding an impressive 141 (-3) in the two rounds to come in second at the tournament. The sophomore turned in a 68 (-4) to open up the day, a career-low for the Georgia native, before completing the second round at 73 (+1) to earn her best finish of the season and match her best career tournament place.

The Blue Raiders will return to action for the Conference USA Championships at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla. from April 14-16.
