NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR ACQUISITION OF
A BANK BY A BANK HOLDING COMPANY
First Commerce Bancorp, Inc., 500 N. Ellington
Parkway, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, intends to
apply to the Federal Reserve Board and Tennessee
Department of Financial Institutions for permission to
acquire control of Peoples Bank of Middle Tennessee,
1122 North Main Street, Shelbyville, Tennessee 37160.
The Federal Reserve and Tennessee Department of
Financial Institutions consider a number of factors in
deciding whether to approve the application, including
the record of performance of banks we own in helping
to meet local credit needs.
You are invited to submit comments in writing on
this application to the Federal Reserve Bank of At-
lanta, 1000 Peachtree Street N.E., Atlanta, Georgia
30309-4470. The comment period will not end before
November 30, 2024, and may be somewhat longer.
