NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR MERGER OF BANKS
First Commerce Bank, 500 N. Ellington Parkway,
Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, has applied to the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and
Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions (TDFI)
for permission to merge with Peoples Bank of Middle
Tennessee, 1122 N. Main Street, Shelbyville, Tennessee
37160. It is contemplated that all offices of the above-
named institutions will continue to be operated.
Any person wishing to comment on this application
may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional
Director of the FDIC at the FDIC’s Dallas Regional
Office, 600 North Pearl Street, Suite 700, Dallas, Texas
75201, not later than November 30, 2024. The non-
confidential portions of the application are on file at
the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public
inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies
of the non-confidential portion of the application file will
be made available upon request.
Any person wishing to comment on this application
may file comments in writing with the Tennessee
Commissioner of Financial Institutions, Tennessee
