Pamela Joyce Mayhugh Nashton, 66, passed away after a short illness on August 11, 2020. She was born January 5, 1954 in White House, Tennessee, to Joyce Dickerson and Vernon Mayhugh. She attended White House High School. She married Jeffrey Lee Nashton on December 18, 2000 in Rome, NY.

Pamela had a keen eye for top breed dogs and horses. She raised Dobermans for 20 years and was involved with War Dog Memorial overseas. She especially enjoyed riding and showing her Spotted Saddlebred Horses. She was a member of National Spotted Saddle Horse Association.

Pam was a participant of the Shephard’s Chapel congregation in Gravette, Arkansas. Pam loved her home, animals and enjoyed fishing. She was known as a kind, loving and faithful Christian who held fast to her beliefs. She had the unique ability to determine a person’s true character.

Pam is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; son Michael (Naomi) Voss; grandchildren: Jordan B. Voss, Tyler M. Voss, Hayden M. Voss and London Voss; one precious great granddaughter, Aris Jung; stepson, Michael John (Lisa) Nashton and grandson Jack Nashton. Pam is also survived by two sisters, Patricia G. Bornmann and Joyce Dianna O’Donnell. She was predeceased by her parents.

Pam shared a special bond with friends Leighanne Tibbs, Shalee Sphaler and Brenda Skinner Steinmann. She leaves behind her beloved, special dog Khaleesi the Doberman and I’m Jacked Up Too, AKA Pistol, a World Grand Champion Spotted Saddlebred horse.

Pamela’s family would like to express their appreciation to all the hospital staff who cared for her at Tennova Healthcare - Shelbyville.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood in Pam’s memory through the American Red Cross.
