TAFT — Blanche's Elijah Parks posted a game-high 21 points and led a furious 17-point fourth-quarter rally, but it wasn't enough to topple the balanced offensive effort by the Liberty Patriots on Monday night.

Led by the one-two punch of Jason Cullum and Jack Conditt, the Patriots outlasted Blanche's comeback bid, 51-39.

The Patriots' offense was balanced throughout the four quarters, with Liberty making the most of its shots from the floor, as well as the attempts at the free throw line.

Liberty was a very efficient 13 of 15 attempts in the contest from the charity stripe.

Liberty also managed to connect on four treys in the win.

Blanche's best offensive quarter came in a 17-point rally, spurred on by Parks' effort from the arc.

He sank three triples in the frame and kept the hosts within striking distance.

Still, Cullum and Conditt combined for 33 points to lead the Patriots to the victory.

Liberty led 15-7 after the first frame and 25-17 at the half.

The biggest point differential came in the third frame with the Patriots outscored Blanche 15-5.

Amid a season of rescheduled games, the Patriots won't return to action until Monday with another road contest at Flintville.

Liberty's next home game is scheduled for December 17.
