I notice many locations throughout the city where the corner sidewalk locations are being rebuilt.. Could you provide more information as to the background/reasons for this? i.e. to provide access for wheelchairs, sources of funding-Federal/State/City? Thanks for your article!!! Charles Philpott

The last information received was that the state will be reworking from Evans Street to Highway 64, and all sidewalks will be brought up to ADA standards. It was scheduled for three years ago but kept getting bumped.
