Grace Valley Farm in Shelbyville was the chosen venue for the Aug. 9 marriage of Amanda Lorene Rader of Smyrna and Jeremy Dean Ferguson of Wartrace.

Willie Brown of The Loft church conducted the double-ring ceremony before a large guest company.

Parents of the bride are Andrew Rader of Smyrna and Wanda Patterson of La Vergne. She is the granddaughter of JoAnn Atchley of Sebring, Fla., the late Bruce Atchley and the late Hollis and Margaret Patterson.

The groom is the son of Roy and Dana Ferguson and Bobbie Ferguson, all of Shelbyville. He is the grandson of Jane Grubbs of Wartrace and the late Waymon Grubbs and the late Roy “Sonny” and Joan Ferguson.

The bride was escorted during the evening event by her son, Christopher Sullivan. Serving as her maid of honor was friend, Misti Ledbetter. Attendants were Mara Ferguson of Fosterville, Jaycie Plemons of Shelbyville, Millie Carter of Wartrace, Alea Clevenger of Fayetteville, Lexie Spence of Bell Buckle and Ashley Wilkes of Smyrna. Serving as flower girl was the bride’s daughter, Lilyana Grace Clark, of Rockvale.

Groomsmen were Brian Wilson of Unionville, Casey Hastings, Christopher Sullivan, Landon Ford and Alec Jackson, all of Shelbyville. Attending the groom as ring bearer was Luke Rodriguez of Wartrace.

For her wedding attire, the bride chose a white, sleeveless “Essence of Australia” ballroom gown enhanced with a flowing train and long, lace cathedral veil fashioned with floral illusion. She carried a mixed floral bouquet of freesia, stargazer lilies and assorted multi-color lilies.

Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple are making their home in Shelbyville.

A reception followed the ceremony. The rehearsal dinner was held at The Loft and given by the groom’s mother and Dana Rodriguez. An “I Do BBQ” was hosted by Millie Carter and Flo McCormick.
