Rita Alphonsine Geddis, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away from this life on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
No services will be held.
She was born in Berlin, New Hampshire May 7, 1944 to Marie Ange (Morin) and Joseph E. Babineau. Both preceded her in death.
Rita enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and listening to her favorite country music singers: Conway and Loretta. She also loved spending time with her family and playing bingo with her friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Rudolph "Rudy" Babineau of Manchester, NH and son-in-law Ben Cooper of Shelbyville.
Rita was survived by: her loving husband of 36 years, Brian Geddis; siblings, Gisele Sevigny-Fontaine, Claudette Prive, and Lucien Babineau; children, Steven (Lou) Vincent, Susan (Harold) Fralic, Timothy (Cynthia) Tardiff, and Nancy Cooper; grand-children, Jessica (Luis) Perez, Buddy (Ambyre) Fralic, Kenny (Felicia) Fralic, Joseph Vincent, David (Tiffany) Vincent, Matthew Cooper, Michelle Cooper Harwell, Ashley Tardiff, Megan Tardiff, Adam Martin and several great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.
In life, Rita was a headstrong, fun-loving and free spirited soul. She lived a long life and will be missed by many.
